2006 UK National Drum Fair

30 September and 1 October 2006

Moving to a new venue - three times the size of previous year's - was undoubtedly a risk...but boy, did it pay off!

The 2006 National Drum Fair is reckoned to have been the best one yet - with more stallholders than ever before, more visitors than ever before and three performers - Nick Ward, Ian Palmer and James Birt - who gave three very different, but equally brilliant, demonstrations of drumming. Martin "The Guru" Ranscombe was also on hand to dispense more drum tuning wisdom to the crowds.

The 2006 event also featured the finest display of vintage drum kits ever assembled in the UK. We are enormously grateful to everyboy who attended, who displayed and who got into the spirit of the event. We're already looking forward to the 2007 show!
