Jack Parnell - Honorary President
The NDF committee are pleased to announce that Jack Parnell has accepted an invitation to be the first Honorary President of the National Drum Fair. Jack is best known from his TV appearances as musical director of "Sunday Night at the London Palladium". He was Ted Heath's first drummer and led his own swinging big band though out the 1950's. Other noteable musical involvement included 'This is Tom Jones' and 'The Muppet Show'. In later years he provided the driving force to Kenny Baker's 'Best of British Jazz'.

National Drum Fair dates announced
The NDF committee are delighted to announce that the 2008 UK National Drum Fair will take place at the Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre in Birmingham on the 27 and 28 September.
....and while you're writing dates in your diary, the 2009 NDF will be on 26 and 27 September 2009!
